Already a month has passed since i have painted this! Time flies when your having fun! I was given the opportunity to do some work in the rest rooms of the legendary ‘DADA Haus’ in which the infamous ‘Cabaret Voltaire‘ was founded in 1916 and Dadaism was born. DADA is a surreal art form which ironically had the goal to be everything else but an art form, meanwhile its known all over the world.
It was a long week that i spent in there making sure that every line comes out right and in full color on that uneven wall. Could have used spray but i thought it would be to rough in that small space and marker tips would be to hard for that surface full of bumps so i had to go for the paint brush. The process was kind of meditative but a lot of fun. At this point i would like to thank the Team at Cabaret Voltaire for hooking me up!
